- Target has received 23 reports of the pearls falling off the sandals, creating a choking risk that could result in serious injury or death, though no injuries have been reported so far.
- Manufactured in Cambodia, the recalled tan sandals feature two raffia straps, gold buckles, and plastic pearls in sizes 5T through 12T. They were sold at Target stores nationwide and online from January through May 2026 for about $20.
- Consumers should immediately stop using the sandals and keep them away from children. Shoppers can return items to any Target store or mail them using a prepaid label to receive a full refund.
- The recall is officially numbered 26-629. Anyone with questions can contact Target toll-free at 800-591-3869 between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. daily or visit the company website for further information.
