Marathon’s varsity boys basketball team ran out of time in its comeback attempt from a 16-point halftime deficit against Bonduel in the WIAA Division 4 sectional championship on Saturday at D.C. Everest. The Red Raiders lost to the Bears, 78-68, in a rematch of the sectional championship in the same location two years ago that Marathon won. Bonduel played in its third straight sectional title game this season.
