A batch of Barriere kids braved the fickle crowd recently in a speech competition hosted by the elementary school. The event was organized by Paulette Collier, a Grade 5/6 teacher at Barriere Elementary, and saw the school’s gymnasium full of about 150 people to watch the speakers on Tuesday, May 19.
