Real estate developer Omar Govers (35) gets 43 years in prison for drug trafficking: former kickboxer must also repay 400 million euros

The Antwerp criminal court has sentenced Antwerp drug trafficker Omar Govers (35) to 20 years in prison for importing 26 tons of cocaine. Govers, who is active in Dubai as a real estate entrepreneur, has already collected 43 years of outstanding prison sentences. Govers must also repay 400 million euros in profits from drug trafficking to the Belgian state.
