Reader Opinion: Cruelty destroys

Dear fellow human beings. My question is this: When did we become a country that allows tons of food to rot while children are starving to death, while we watch and do nothing but serve our leader? When did we become a people that chooses to protect predators and not the young girls? I see no kindness or hope for us if cruelty wins, cruelty destroys! Wake up, humanity needs us.
