CHP Bursa MP and Deputy Chairman Orhan Sarıbal reacted against the privatization of two Bosphorus bridges and some highways and ring roads for 30 years by presidential decree. Sarıbal stated that the ring road and connecting roads between Çağlayan Junction and Yenişehir Junction in Bursa, which are currently free to use, are also included in the privatization, and called for the decision to be reversed.
AK Party Bursa Provincial Chairman Davut Gürkan issued a statement regarding the discussions about the future of the Bursa Ring Road. Gürkan stated that the highway will continue to be free for public use under its current status.
