Fatih Erbakan, leader of the Re-Welfare Party, reacted to the inclusion of bridges and highways in the privatization program, saying, "They are putting these highways and bridges up for sale as the last golden goose. But if it has come to the point of even selling bridges built during the Özal and Demirel eras, we say, 'Woe to this economy, woe to this country.'"

Serdar Üsküplü, Deputy Chairman of the Patriotic Party, reacted against the transfer of operating rights for bridges and highways, calling on the government to reverse this decision.
Özgür Karabat of the NEW Party, who announced that 1.79 trillion TL was paid in interest from the budget in 7 months, stated that bridges and highways are being put up for sale under the guise of transfer of ownership. Karabat said, "The state is running a deficit, and as a solution, revenue-generating public infrastructure is being sold."

Ağıralioğlu demanded that instead of selling off investments made for years with the taxpayers' money and state guarantees, citizens should be made shareholders in these assets.
Yeniden Refah Party leader Erbakan criticized the privatization of bridges and highways, saying, "These assets, whose payments have already been made, whose depreciation has been covered, and which only generate profit, are being hastily put up for sale with taxpayers' money." Targeting economic policies as well, Erbakan reiterated his call for a referendum on the law concerning the "Terror-Free Turkey" process.
