RCMP investigating fatal highway crash in Richmond, B.C.

On Friday, a single-vehicle crash on Highway 99 northbound in Richmond killed one person, police said, identifying the victim as a 52-year-old man from Pitt Meadows.
Michael McLaughlin of the BC Highway Patrol said evidence shows the victim was alone, investigators have not identified other vehicles, and police are appealing for witnesses and dash-cam footage.
A white Dodge Ram flat deck went off-road just after the Steveston onramp, with the collision occurring shortly after noon.
