Men get federal prison for Ohio crime spree, interstate shootout
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Two men who went on an armed crime spree through the Columbus area that ended with a shootout with police on an interstate highway that wounded one officer were sentenced Wednesday in federal court to multiple years in prison.Faisal Darod, 25, of Columbus, was sentenced to 25 year, while Aden Abdullahi Jama, 21, of Reynoldsburg, was sentenced to 13 years, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Ohio.
