Rating Agency Continues to Rate Styria with Aa

The rating agency Standard & Poor's has again certified AA to the state of Styria. However, the outlook for the future has been devalued from stable to negative, which means the preliminary stage for a possible reduction to the next lower rating AA-. The agency "justifies the negative outlook with the uncertainty whether Styria can sustainably reduce its budget deficit", the country informed in a message on Saturday.
