Despite high winds and lightning from back-to-back thunderstorms on Thursday, firefighters made some progress in their efforts to slow the spread of the Durkee Fire with the help of some rainfall.In some areas, as much as an inch of rain fell, though on the northern edge of the fire only 0.2 inches of rain fell.
