Race results: MXGP World Championship RD5 – Arco di Trento

Tim Gajser is the winner of the MXGP World Championship race in Pietramurata, Italy. He won both the first and second races and extended his lead in the championship. Jan Pancar was seventh, after being ninth in the first and eighth in the second race.

Tim Gajser overtook his main rival Romain Febvre with just over three minutes to go and won the first run of the Trentino GP. Jan Pancar finished an excellent ninth.

With victories in both competitions, the Slovenian World Cup leader Tim Gajser (Honda) won the Grand Prix of Trentino in Pietramurata ahead of Romain Febvre (Kawasaki) and Glenn Coldenhoff (Fantic). Tom Koch scores 9 points.

Slovenian motocross rider Tim Gajser won the first race for the MXGP World Championship in Pietramurata, Italy. Gajser further increased the lead in the SP by defeating the first pursuer, Frenchman Romain Febvre. The second Slovenian representative, Jan Pancar, finished the opening race of the VN Trentina in ninth place.
