The Chaudière-Appalaches athletes won three new medals yesterday on the second day of competition of Block 2 of the Quebec Games, held in Trois-Rivières, bringing the total to 27 medals, seven in gold, 11 in silver and nine in bronze.
The men's beach volleyball duo, made up of Gabriel Joseph and Cody Cormier of Sept-Îles, could get their medal round passes. They will walk through Chavigny school on Friday for a place in the top 8.
