PWHL Unveils Seattle Torrent And Vancouver Goldeneyes Team Identities
The two new teams reflect local culture with nicknames inspired by regional wildlife and waterways as PWHL expands from six to eight teams this season.

- The Torrent identity features an S-shaped Seattle Torrent logo inspired by Washington's rivers, Vancouver's logo centers on a feathery golden eye with Pacific blue, coastal cream, earthy bronze, and both teams wear city-name jerseys this season, with logos planned for the 2026-27 season.
- Hilary Knight was the first signing for Seattle and prepares for her fifth Winter Games, while Vancouver's roster features Canadian leaders Sarah Nurse, Claire Thompson, and local forward Jenn Gardiner.
- The Goldeneyes name honors the Common Goldeneye, and PWHL executive vice president of business operations Amy Scheer said the identities are bold, strengthening the league's ties to the Pacific Northwest.
