UK Pledges $205 Million to Send US Weapons to Ukraine

- Funding includes a £390 million deal for 1,000 Belfast-made Lightweight Multirole Missiles and additional deliveries via the Air Defence Consortium of 1,200 air-defence missiles and 200,000 rounds of artillery ammunition, the MoD said.
- The move is part of Healey's efforts to urgently protect Ukraine's energy infrastructure and residential areas, and strengthen NATO posture, Healey said.
- At NATO ministers' meetings in Brussels, allies discussed defence investment and Ukraine, while the deal deepens UK-Ukraine ties by transferring Rapid Ranger production and support to Ukraine.
