Club Med Punta Cana hit by a major fire: it will remain closed for many weeks

The largest Club Med in the world, in Punta Cana, was ravaged by flames on Thursday, December 12. There were no casualties as a result of the incident and vacationers were directed to another site.

A fire broke out at Club Med Punta Cana, the largest in the world, very early in the morning of Thursday, September 12, 2024. The fire, which started around 5 am, quickly spread to key areas of the complex, including the reception, main restaurant, and pool bar.
