Punjab government transfers Rs 1,147 crore to 33 lakh women under Mukh Mantri Mawan Dheeyan Satkar Yojana
Beneficiaries belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) category received Rs 4,500 each, covering three monthly instalments of Rs 1,500, while women from other categories were credited Rs 3,000 each, equivalent to three monthly instalments of Rs 1,000, the Punjab government said.

The Punjab government has so far deposited ₹1,147 crore through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) into the bank accounts of approximately 3.3 million women in the state under the Mukhyamantri Maawan Dhian Satkar Yojana.
