The head of the Ministry of Tourism Development, Carlos Márquez Pérez, stated that Puebla has a goal of attracting 5.5 million visitors to more than 150 events that will take place in the coming weeks. In a press conference, the state official commented that the state government is investing more than 700 million pesos to host the events; an economic impact of 8 billion pesos is expected.
