Public urged to attend County Commission meeting dealing with Tweetsie Trail extension

To the Editor: On Aug. 30, 2014, almost a thousand people gathered to celebrate the opening of the Tweetsie Trail. A vision begun in 2005 finally saw fruition, and our area has greatly benefited from the nearly 10 miles of trail stretching from Legion Street in Johnson City to Hatcher Lane in Elizabethton.
