UGC bans psychology, nutrition, healthcare courses in online and distance mode
The UGC has directed higher education institutions to discontinue offering psychology, nutrition and healthcare-related courses in distance or online mode from the July-August 2025 academic session. The decision applies to all disciplines listed under the National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions Act, 2021.
