In an interview with the Week's Business, the Minister for Economic Affairs said that the use of European funds would not be a lost opportunity and would ensure that the application is not delayed.
"The Parliamentary Group of the Socialist Party today requested the hearing of the Minister for Economic Affairs and Territorial Coalition, Manuel Castro Almeida, in order to obtain clarifications on the point of implementation of the PRR [Recovery and Resilience Plan] and Portugal in 2030, the main obstacles identified, as well as the ongoing measures to ensure the implementation of the calendars defined by the European Commission," he said.
Socialists want to hear from the Minister of Economy and Territorial Cohesion about delays in the execution of the PRR and Portugal 2030. Request for a hearing seeks clarification regarding the status of the execution and difficulties encountered on the ground.
