Protesting Senate Bill 1

Summary by Sentinel-Tribune
On March 6, a coalition of area Ohio activist groups lined Ohio 65 one mile out from Nazareth Hall in both directions with targeted messages to defeat Senate Bill 1, with signs that included “Respect the Freedom to Learn” and “If SB1 passes, RIP BGSU.” Opponents say SB1 state the bill will severely diminish the quality and viability of degrees from Ohio’s public universities. More than two dozen people participated in the peaceful protest.
