NEW YORK CITY, JUL 14 – Protesters urge reversal of funding cuts as specialized LGBTQ+ hotline has helped over 1.3 million youth and faces closure this week, risking counselor layoffs and service loss.
- On Saturday, protesters gathered outside Trump Tower, demanding restoration of funding to the National LGBTQ+ Suicide Prevention Hotline, whose LGBTQ+ option is due to close this week.
