Proposal by cross-party members of both houses of the US Congress: Opposing the CCP's pressure on the US and other countries to accept their sovereignty claims over Taiwan

A number of heavyweight bipartisan members of the US Senate and House of Representatives jointly proposed a resolution on Friday (February 21) to oppose the Chinese Communist Party's pressure on the US and other countries to accept its actions to have sovereignty over Taiwan. The resolution also confirms that America's “one-China policy” and similar policies of its partners are not equivalent to the CCP's “one-China principle.”
