INDIA, JUL 10 – Priya Nair will lead HUL with a five-year tenure starting August 1, 2025, marking a milestone as the first woman CEO amid a strategic focus on growth and innovation.
- Hindustan Unilever Ltd announced that Priya Nair will become its first woman CEO and Managing Director starting August 1, 2025.
- Priya Nair will take over as MD and CEO of Hindustan Unilever Ltd starting August 1, 2025, succeeding Rohit Jawa, who has held the position since 2023 and will resign effective July 31, 2025, to move forward with new personal and professional opportunities.
- Nair joined HUL in 1995, has led home care and beauty divisions, and has been president of Unilever's Beauty & Wellbeing since 2023 managing a €13 billion business.
- For the fiscal year 2025, HUL posted revenues of approximately Rs 61,470 crore along with a net income exceeding Rs 10,600 crore, while the announcement of the new CEO led to a nearly 5% increase in the company’s share price.
