Referring to a "failure to organize the public education service", the Versailles Administrative Court considered that the appropriate disciplinary sanctions had not been imposed on the authors.

The court found that the administration had not taken the necessary steps to put an end to the school harassment suffered by a college student who had died in 2018.

The State is ordered to pay a total of 92,000 euros to the parents of this pupil, who was educated in a school in Essonne, who committed suicide after months of harassment.

This sixth grade student committed suicide on 21 November 2018, in Essonne, after being subjected to harassment and violence. For the justice system, the administration did not "take the penalties that were imposed on the students in question".

The Versailles Administrative Court considered that the administration was aware of the situation of harassment of the 6th grade student but that the state "had not taken the necessary measures to put an end to these acts".
