- On her 37th birthday, Princess Beatrice celebrated on August 8, her first since welcoming her youngest daughter, Athena Elizabeth Rose.
- The arrival of Athena Elizabeth Rose earlier this year saw her become the fourth grandchild of the Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York, born prematurely on January 22.
- Sharing a photo of Princess Beatrice on his personal Instagram account, Mapelli Mozzi wrote, "Happy Birthday to my BEAUTIFUL wife." Princess Eugenie shared a carousel of photos with a heartfelt caption, and the Duchess of York expressed pride in her daughter.
- Taking on new duties, Princess Beatrice said, `It’s a real honour to take up the role as Patron of the Chartered College of Teaching, a role previously held by my grandfather`.
