Primary Election ends Nelson’s 12-year term on county board

Expected low voter turnout for last Tuesday’s Primary Election in Hamilton County meant calling an early night for employees of the county clerk’s office which is in charge of elections. “We expected that,” Clerk and Election Commissioner Jill DeMers told the county commission on Monday as she reported on the election.
