An important figure in the French regional daily press at the end of the last century and during the first decade of the twenty-first century, Jean-Dominique Pretet died on Monday, September 21, at the age of 83, in Montpellier. He had been president of the executive board of Alsace from 1999 to 2010, after leading the Midi Libre.
