Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said in a phone call with Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani that Qatar and its people were not targeted in the Iranian attack on Al Udeid Air Base, emphasizing the principle of good neighborliness and strong relations between the two countries.
Hours after imposing a ceasefire on Israel after its aggression against Iran, the president of this nation, Masoud Pezeshkian, telephoned the emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and conveyed to him that the attack on the eve of the Al-Udeid airbase was only a response to the US complicity in the Zionist entity’s recent military aggression. Pezeshkian told Al Thani that Iran has no intention of confrontation with Qatar.
