Northwestern Hosts 44th Annual Dennis Simpson Track Meet

SUPERIOR, Wis.- Northwestern High School hosted the 44th annual Dennis Simpson indoor invitational track meet on Friday night. A total of 16 teams from the surrounding area competed in the meet. The Hayward girls team won the meet with 158.50 points. For the boys, Hayward won the meet with 136.50 points. Prep report: Danz leads Tigers at UWS indoor meet

Northwestern topped local track and field teams participating in the Dennis Simpson Invitational on Friday, April 4 at the Lydia C. Thering Fieldhouse on the Wisconsin-Superior campus. Hayward dominated both the boys and girls proceedings, but the Northwestern boys were second and girls third in a field that included 13 boys and 15 girls teams.
