PREP FOOTBALL: Branford shuts down Port St. Joe
BRANFORD — Behind a stingy defense, Branford picked up its second straight home win Friday night. The Buccaneers used a goal-line stop late in the third to help preserve the shutout, blanking Port St. Joe 21-0 at Buccaneer Stadium on Friday. With the win, Branford moves to 4-2 while the Sharks fell to 0-5. Branford jumped on top late in the first quarter when Holston Frazier scored on a 1-yard run on a direct snap.
