Prep baseball: Two-out production leads Ironton past Portsmouth West

PEDRO, Ohio — Timely hitting is key to surviving and advancing. The Ironton Fighting Tigers' baseball program received timely hitting in the latter stage of a OHSAA Division V District Quarterfinal at Rock Hill High School in Pedro Friday evening, scoring all four of its runs with two outs against it while receiving a complete game two-hitter from Ironton pitching arm Braydon Baker in a 4-0 win for the Fighting Tigers over Portsmouth West.
