Premier League Wrap: Bournemouth and Brentford Win Again
- On Saturday, AFC Bournemouth defeated Leeds United 2-0 at the Vitality Stadium, extending the Cherries' winning streak to six consecutive matches in the Premier League.
- Leeds goalkeeper James Trafford's errant pass in the 31st minute proved decisive, allowing Justin Kluivert to set up Evanilson for an easy finish into an empty net.
- Earlier, Leeds striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin saw an 11th-minute finish ruled out by VAR for a handball after the ball struck his arm following a James Justin cross.
- Substitute Amine Adli sealed the result with a stoppage-time goal, moving Bournemouth to seventh in the Premier League table with 12 points from nine games.
- Facing a return to Elland Road next weekend, Leeds' winless run extended to five matches amid ongoing attacking struggles before hosting Tottenham Hotspur.
