Friday, October 24, 2025 – 22:27 WIB Jacarta – DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung Wibowo fully supports central government measures to eradicate the practice of importing used or second-hand clothing. He stressed that the ban is in line with DKI provincial government efforts to organize markets so that local traders are not disadvantaged.
Pramono believes that the practice of thrifting actually puts pressure on local businesses, especially wholesalers in the Tanah Abang and Pasar Senen areas.
