Power outage in Valencia not caused by ‘Canyon Fire’

A power outage in the areas near Copper Hill Drive affected about 1,500 homes on Thursday afternoon, according to officials with Southern California Edison.  The power outage is not related to the “Canyon Fire,” which began around 2 p.m. on Thursday, according to David Eisenhauer, spokesman for Edison.  Eisenhauer said that Edison does not know exactly what the problem is, and they are currently patrolling the area looking for the issue, as of t…
