The men's basketball team of Latvia defeated the selection of Portugal in Riga 78:62 (23:21, 27:7, 15:15, 13:19), in the game of the fourth round of Group A at the European Championship.
Latvia, which hosts Group A at the European Basketball Championship final tournament, earned its second win after two losses on Monday when it defeated Estonia's final group opponent, Portugal, 78:62.
Latvia, thanks to the formidable Porzingis, won over Portugal, but saw Zagars and Zoriks leave the match for the 4th round of Eurobasket 2025 injured.
Latvia overcame Portugal's resistance 78-62 and is one step away from qualifying for the next phase of Eurobasket 2025.
Portugal will fight with the Estonians for a place in the round of 16.
