Portsmouth to forgive more than 11,500 unpaid parking tickets

Portsmouth forgives 11,525 unpaid parking tickets totaling $469,095 to address enforcement issues and support downtown revitalization efforts.

After years of irregular parking enforcement, Portsmouth plans to forgive all outstanding parking fees going back three years. The decision comes as the city plans to overhaul its parking fee collection process and reassess parking rules.
