Porr wins two Polish rail contracts worth €532m - Global Construction Review

Austria’s Porr Group has won two rail contracts together worth €532m from Polish state rail operator PKP PLK for the country’s south east. In the Bieszczady region, Porr won a €400m contract to modernise 80km of railway between Jasło and Nowy Zagórz. The design and build contract involves modernising 18 stations and stops, building six new stations and 80 level crossings. Porr will also have to build a 1.65km long tunnel in the town of Krosno
