Christchurch Community Pub to Reopen Following Transformational Refurbishment
The Nelson in Christchurch will reopen on Friday 7 August following a £50,000 investment from licensee Joe Winduss and Admiral Taverns. The refurbishment has updated the pub’s interiors, kitchen, cellar and beer garden, with further investment planned for late 2026 into early 2027.
The former café De Gaopert in Hapert is now called ’t Benkske. Hapert goers can meet each other there as if in a cozy living room.
