More and more people are living on the streets or are poorly housed in France. 5,000 to 8,000 people, including 1,000 to 3,000 children, are turned away every evening by 115 for lack of space in emergency accommodation. In a report, the Foundation for Housing for the Disadvantaged asks the State for concrete actions.

In its annual report on poor housing, the association is worried about the political “wait and see” in the face of the “worsening” of the situation of millions of vulnerable French people, including some 350,000 homeless people.
According to an estimate by the Fondation pour le Logement des Défavés (ex-Fondation Abbé Pierre), 350,000 people are homeless in France. The institution is publishing its annual report on poor housing on Monday.
