The government, the Socialist Party, the Unity Party, the Danish Social Democrats and the Alternative have agreed on a new agreement on asbestos. The agreement means, among other things, that in future it may trigger a prison sentence if employees are deliberately exposed to asbestos or if they grossly violate the Working Environment Act.
It will be easier to impose prison sentences in asbestos cases and fatal accidents, the agreement shows.
