Police Search for Missing 77-Year-Old in Leipzig

BOUS. Since 23.5.2025, around 9 a.m., the 77-year-old Herbert Hausknecht from Bous has disappeared from his home. The wanted person is dependent on the use of medication. Mr. Hausknecht is about 1.74 m tall, weighs about 90 kg and currently wears a beard. He is dressed with jeans and a green/beige winter sweater.

Police in Leipzig are searching for a 77-year-old woman who has been missing since Tuesday afternoon. The elderly woman had left her nursing home on Sternheimstrasse in Leipzig-Portitz/Plaußig and has not returned since, according to the Leipzig Police Department.
