Railroad crossing arm hit Allen County sheriff’s deputies fielded a report Thursday that a white pickup, speeding to beat a train crossing on Texas Road at Bayard, hit a crossing gate arm that had been deployed. The motorist did not stop and continued eastbound, deputies said. A southbound train was unaffected by the incident.
