A large-scale check on electric scooters was conducted in Beersel this afternoon. Six scooters were confiscated in a short period of time along the cycle highway along the canal in Lot, either because they could travel faster than 25 kilometers per hour or because they did not comply with Belgian technical standards. This often happens, for example, with scooters purchased from cheap Chinese websites.
