HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) - The Mount Vernon Police Department (MVPD) announced an officer saved the life of a woman on March 16. Officers say on March 16, Mount Vernon Police Officer Zachary Adkins was on patrol when he saw that the Mt. Vernon Fire Department and Posey County EMS were dispatched to a residence on 10th Street for an unconscious person.
