Police investigating apparent drowning in South Haven
The South Haven Police Department is investigating an apparent drowning in Lake Michigan on Monday. South Haven Area Emergency Services says it was called to an area about five miles south of the lighthouse, off 20th Avenue, after a boater reported finding a woman unconscious in the water around 6 p.m. The boater was unable to pull the woman from the water, but did place a floatation device on her.
