Police in Costa Rica protest the change in schedules ordered by the Government to reduce crime

Off-duty police groups protested this Thursday in various parts of the country against the temporary change in their schedules announced by the Government of President Rodrigo Chaves as part of its plan to address insecurity and the increase in the number of homicides.

The mobilizations began a day after the president, Rodrigo Chaves, announced that civil servants' working hours would be doubled.
