On Thursday morning, three large shopping centers in the Czech capital Prague did not open at standard time due to police receiving reports of allegedly planted explosives.
According to police spokesman Jan Rybanský, someone reported a possible explosive device via email. Dozens of police officers are searching the shopping centers on Náměstí Republiky, Chodov, and Černý Most. The police spokesman could not estimate how long the centers would remain closed. Three shopping centers in Prague are currently temporarily closed. According to the police, the reason is an anonymous email about the possible storage of explosives. These are the Palladium, Westfield Chodov and OC Černý Most shopping centers. The police are searching the buildings.
