ELKHART — A death investigation is continuing at the Elkhart County Jail following an inmate death early Monday morning.

Arrest Made in Lawrence Co., IN Infant Death Investigation

The Lawrence County, Indiana Sheriff’s Office says a a Bedford woman has been arrested in the death of an infant. 19-month-old Elliaunna Plummer was taken to IU Health Hospital in Bedford last November for treatment of injuries that were consistent with abuse.
